Samsung Mobile Spain announced on it’s Facebook page that Samsung Galaxy S will be getting its Android 2.2 Froyo update and support for Adobe Flash 10.1 Mobile by the end of coming October.
Samsung Mobile India, confirmed a similar date with a tweet.
As of now, it seems only Samsung UK will launch Froyo before the end of September. This is confirmed by an announcement made by T-Mobile. The update will be made available via the Kies desktop application on the PC.
Update: Samsung has announced that Android 2.2 Froyo will be made available through a “brand new version of Kies” early in November for Galaxy S owners in the UK, while “all operator versions” will get it by the end of November.
