Skype announced on its blog that version 5.0 of Skype is now available for Windows.
The new Skype 5.0 is packed with several great new features, like the ability to make 10-way group video-calls and Facebook Integration.
Video calling, now features a dynamic view that automatically shifts the focus to the person who is speaking, which makes it easier to follow video chats with large groups of people.
Users can now integrate their Facebook into Skype. Once you have logged in via Facebook Connect, you’ll be able to see your full Facebook News Feed in Skype and lets you post messages, comment, and like updates. You can also call and SMS Facebook friends and make a free Skype call if your Facebook friend is also using Skype.
Automatic call recovery auto-redials a call whenever it’s dropped. The call quality manager is also improved. It provides real time information on video or voice call quality as well as tips for solving any problems that occur.
