Chrome Tip: Paste Text Only Without the Formatting

Writing a report online while researching and pasting text from various webpages? With each pasted text you get all the original fonts, colors and spacing or in a single word called the “formatting” of the webpage aswell in your report. Manually removing this formatting is a time consuming and boring work.

Google Chrome has a built-in solution to help you with this: a hotkey combo which would automatically strip the formatting.

So now instead of using Ctrl+V to paste, press Ctrl+Shift+V to insert your text without retaining the original formatting. The resulting pasted text will be in plain text.
