Ever felt the need to organize the opened applications in the taskbar?
Windows does not have this features but you can achieve this by using a utility known as Taskix. You can reorder buttons in the taskbar by simply dragging and dropping them in any order. Taskix is a free utility. It works on Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Windows Vista and Windows Server 2008 on both 32 and 64 bit versions.
Download Taskix to a folder on your Computer and double click on Taskix32_2.0Beta.msi.
After launching Taskix, just click on the Activate button, and the utility will run in the background. You can even scrolll through the tabs using your Mouse Wheel. If you want taskix to run when Windows starts, check the box next to Auto-start in Windows.
It also supports multiple monitors.
To reorder open apps in the taskbar, just click on a button then drag and drop it to any location you want the button to be ordered.
