Delete URLs from Chrome Omnibox Suggestions

The moment I start typing a URL, Chrome will automatically filter recently typed URLs and browsing history, and show me the website I want to visit. In most cases this is handy, but sometimes it can also cause a very annoying behavior.

For instance, if once you mistakenly typed facebok.com instead of facebook.com, every time you start typing Facebook’s URL, you get the incorrect entry at the beginning. Even if you delete the address from your browsing history, it will still show up in the Omnibox suggestions.

Here’s a simple solution to fix this annoyance:

You can delete all single URLs (even correct addresses) using this method, except the ones beginning with https://.
