BookmarkBar HotKeys is a new extension in Google Chrome extension repository which allows you to open any bookmark using keyboard shortcuts.
After installing the extension, you have to select either “ALT” or “SHIFT” to be used as a hot key. Ex. To open the first bookmark from the bookmarks bar press “ALT + 1.” It can be configured to open the bookmark in the same tab or in a new tab. If you have more than 9 bookmarks, I don’t see a way to open the 10th bookmark in the current version.
Overall, it’s a simple and easy to use extension which will help you save time by reducing mouse usage.
