An image cannot be set as a desktop wallpaper directly from Google Chrome. This is a feature that’s available on most of the modern browsers such as Internet Explorer, Firefox and Opera but surprisingly it is missing from Google Chrome. Thank’s to an extension you can now have this ability in Google Chrome too.
Install Set image as wallpaper extension and then you can right-click on any image file on the web and set it as a desktop wallpaper. Before applying it you also get a preview of how the end result would be. From the preview window you can even choose to stretch, center, or tile your image.
This extension currently only works on Windows.
