After the launch of Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit, now Electronic Arts has revealed a brand new title, Need For Speed: Shift 2 Unleashed. As you can guess from the title, its the sequel to the popular game Need for Speed: Shift.
With over 5 million copies sold, Need for Speed Shift was a success and therefore it comes as no surprise that EA has gone ahead and decided to create a sequel to the series. Shift 2 will build upon the foundation of the previous game and will run on a new rendering engine.
“With an innovative helmet camera view simulating the physical experience of driving at 200mph, the thrilling experience of night racing and authentic degradation of tracks and cars, this is tomorrow’s sim for today’s adrenaline fuelled racer,” said EA.
Need For Speed: Shift 2 Unleashed will launch some time in next year, and will be available for PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
