Google has added support for drag and drop uploading of files in Google Docs.
Now instead of manually browsing and selecting files, you can quickly drag multiple files and add it to the drop area to start uploading. You could already drag and drop images to documents and starting today you can also upload files using this feature.
This feature is available for all Chrome, Safari, and Firefox users.
Google Docs also added a menu option that lets you hide the title bar above the editor. To do so, go to View -> Compact Controls or press the keyboard combination: Ctrl + Shift + F. This option is available only in the new document editor.
