Box Office Quant, a website about film and statistics, has plotted the filming locations of the top 2000 films from the year 1910 to 2010 on a Google Map.
This interactive map, which pinpoints exactly 9,736 locations, was created using Google’s data management tool – Fusion Tables, and information provided by the movie sets of IMDB’s Top 2,000 films of the past 100 years.
You can view the map at the link below. The map starts zoomed out, but you can zoom in and click on each marker for more information.
