Keeping music and videos organized and well-tagged is a time consuming task. Sure, there are plenty of applications to help us out with this process, but they all lack some or the other required feature. Some may support audio files, while the other video files, and when one does both, it may not have online import feature. If you want a true all-in-one media tagging solution, then have a look at TigoTago:
TigoTago is a tag editor software for Windows Operating System that works with both audio and video files. It has a long list of supported formats which ranges from the popular MP3 and FLAC to lesser known format such as MPC. Full list of supported media formats, as of version 2.2.0.1, are: MP3, FLAC, M4A, AAC, OGG, WAV, WMA, APE, AVI, WMV, ASF, MPC, MPP, and MPEG.
To edit tags, navigate to folder containing the media files. When the program detects a supported file format, it will scan its tags and display in the spreadsheet-like grid interface. Each tag is displayed in its own cell. You can manually type in correct information by double-clicking on a cell, or simply import from one of the on-line databases (freedb, Discogs or Musicbrainz). Updated cells are highlighted in light red color. Changes are not immediately saved to disk, so you can easily review each track for correct info and then save.
Other features:
- Conversion between WAV, MP4, FLAC, APE
- Mass tagging and renaming
- Tag from file name, text file, cue sheet
- Rename file from tags
- Tagging templates
- Order and number files
- Find and replace functionality
- Auto logging for monitoring program actions
- Recursive directory view
- Shell integration
TigoTago works on both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of Windows 8, 7, Vista, and XP.
