Google has quietly added a new feature in Gmail which enables recording of phone calls.
With the click of a button you will be able to start/stop recording phone calls, while doing so it will also play a verbal warning to both users saying “this call is now being recorded,” and when you stop recording, it will say “call recording off.” That should make those that fear their privacy feel better.
All your recordings are saved in the “recordings” tab in your Google Voice account, from here you can download them in MP3 format.
The feature is currently available only for incoming Gmail phone calls and can be used without using any additional software.
