Easily Compare Google Fonts and Typekit with Font Comparer

Posted on December 17, 2010 by Renji | Short URL: http://sumtips.com/?p=2305

Font Comparer is a free web application which helps you in finding the right fonts for use on your website from Google Fonts Directory and TypeKit.

Font Comparer

Using this service is pretty simple, just enter a custom heading, paragraph text or use the standard Lorem Ipsum. Then it will show you a preview of the text using all the available fonts on the same page. You can also compare the text by changing its color, background color or by adding a shadow effect to it.

Once you find a suitable font, hover mouse over it and click on the “Get Font” link and it will instantly generate and display the CSS and the script by which you can use the font on your website.
