GTweet is a web app that lets you to subscribe and read tweets from Google Reader.

The way it works is pretty simple. Click on the “Sign in with Twitter” button on the GTweet homepage and authenticate it.

After providing access, it will show you a list of available feeds:

  • Mentions (Tweets mentioning you)
  • Lists (Twitter lists you have created)
  • Searches (Your saved twitter searches)

You can subscribe to any of these from the page.

Once subscribed, it will display each tweet as a separate item (as seen in the image), which includes an avatar and the options to reply or re-tweet the tweet.

Under Preferences section, you can customize how tweets appears in your reader and you also have the option to hide your own tweets and RTs by filtering it out.

Gtweet is fully compatible with all kinds of desktop and online RSS readers.
