Microsoft has released a free download manager, dubbed the Microsoft Download Manager. It seamlessly integrates with Windows 7. Microsoft Download Manager enables you to download files from the Internet in a more reliable and faster way than using a browser alone. It is specifically designed for downloads from Microsoft pages on the Internet but it can be used for any HTTP based downloads.
Microsoft Download Manager supports following Windows OS’s and Browsers.
- Windows 7; Windows Vista; Windows XP Service Pack 2; Windows Server 2003; Windows Server 2008
