If you are bored of seeing the same drive icons in My Computer then this article might be useful for you. By using My Drive Icon you can customize and assign a custom drive icon to the drives in My Computer as per choice.
My Drive Icon, is a portable utility which provides a quick and safe way to customize the drives icons—instead of an otherwise complicated registry hack.
The usuage is simple as well:
- Just select an icon file
- Select the drive
Now, if you want to rename the label then you can do it in the next step.
- Enter a drive label (optional), and apply.
- To see the result you will need to refresh the view (F5) at my computer.
If you don’t like the result, you can restore the default in one click.
