Among the various new features in Windows 8, the most important has to be the Store. From here, users can download a host of apps to enhance their PC and get things done.
With more apps coming to the Windows Store every day, you’re bound to find something interesting that you’d want to share with your friends. Windows has a built-in Share feature using which you can directly share an app from the Store to any of your connected social account and via Mail. From the same interface, we can get the link to the app as well, here’s how:
Getting link to a Windows Store App
- Open the Store and select the app you wish to share.
- With the app page open, move your mouse to lower-right corner of the screen (or press
Windows +C keys) to open the Charm bar. - Click on Share in the menu, choose a medium, and you’ll be able to see the link.
Now you can share this link in your blog post, chat, and anywhere else you want. If the end user is on a supported platform, they will be able to go straight to the Store and install the app.
