Ever wanted to know how good a week or month was? Well, now you can with Illuum, a new web app that allows individuals to track, study and improve their happiness.
To use Illuum, you need to sign up. Illuum offers both free and premium packages. The free package includes all the features and is only ad-supported. Whenever you find the service useful, you can contribute to it by clicking on the donate button, found in the page footer.
Once you create an account and login, you can start rating days. As step one, you can rate the past 30 days on a scale of 1 to 10 ranging worst days to the best. For each day you can additionally record detail what you did.
When you are done rating, to visualize your happy (and not so happy) days, head over to the summary page by clicking on the Stats/Graphs link in the site menu.
Under Graph section (first image), you can see how each day of the week or month rated, or view a summary of the past 30 or 365 days. A graph I found interesting was the “Week of Year” graph. This one is basically broken down by seasons and tells if any of the seasons affect your mood. A lot of data is required to get a good result here.
Tracking moods is not all that Illuum does. It can also help you achieve some specific goal and make instant decisions.
A feature called trackables helps you track and make long term decisions or set goals. Once you set a trackable, daily while filling out details of the day you can also fill in the trackable and view a graphical summary of them later. To get a better idea on how the feature works, click on “Trackables” link in the site menu. Another helpful feature is Instant Decisions. This comes handy at those times when you are not able to make up your mind on something. You just have to enter your question with all the options you are considering. Then ask the site to make a choice for you.
All-in-all, an excellent service to track, analysis and understand the factors that may be affecting a person’s mood. A recommended service for anyone looking to improve their quality of life. Hit the below link to start monitoring your Happiness.
