DropIt is an open source application that makes the task of sorting and managing files a snap.
DropIt works according to patterns (rules) you define. Once you set up a pattern, just drag and drop files or folders on to the application and it will perform the set action. Pattern can be set to move, copy, compress, extract and delete both files and folders.
You can also set up multiple profiles, each with its own set of defined patterns.
It also supports context-menu and shell integration, allowing you to send files to DropIt via the ‘Send To’ option in the context-menu.
DropIt is available both as an installer and portable application. It works on all windows versions.
